At BridgeDenver, we care about your progress and we know that quality teachers are a fundamental part of how quickly you'll learn a language. All of our teachers are native speakers of the language they are teaching and have been trained in our unique methodology.

BridgeDenver instructors are selected for their outgoing personalities, patience, creativity, professionalism, and most importantly, for their enthusiasm for teaching. As you can see from the following selected profiles of just a few of our instructors, our qualified teachers come from a variety of backgrounds and each brings something unique to the classroom.

 
Juan is from Mexico and came to the U.S. in 2000. He has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and worked as a bank manager in Mexico. His real-world experience is helpful for people needing business Spanish. He is a popular teacher because his enthusiasm, energy, and fun personality make learning Spanish enjoyable for his students.
 

 
Heike is from Germany and lived in Bremen, Düsseldorf, and Heidelberg before moving to the U.S. in 2005. She has a bachelor's degree equivalent in tourism and foreign languages and brings a lot of experience in both the tourism industry and German daily life to her students. Heike is a committed member of the teaching staff who loves to find assignments fitting the backgrounds and interests of her students.
 

 
Teresa is from Chile and she is a lawyer with a law degree from the Universided Católica de Chile. Before arriving in Denver, she worked as an associate legal counsel for the Chilean Anti-Drug Council (CONACE) for the Chilean Ministry of the Interior. Teresa has been involved in various activities in Denver since 2002, including volunteer work in local schools and law school coursework.
 

 
Andrea is from Sao Paulo, Brazil and is a teacher for our Portuguese classes. She studied marketing in college in Brazil and worked at the BridgeDenver language center in Sao Paulo before joining us in Denver in 2005. She enjoys teaching Portuguese because she gets to share not only her language but also her culture with students.
 

 
Maria is from Russia and has a master's degree in Linguistics and Education. She speaks Russian, English, and French and taught Russian, Russian Literature, and English as a Second Language while in Russia. Maria came to America in 1997 and lived in England for a bit before that. She has worked as an interpreter for most of her life as well.
